By using Joori, you agree to these terms. We've kept them as clear and human as possible.
Important: Joori is not therapy
Joori is not a substitute for professional mental health support, therapy, or medical advice.
Joori is a reflective companion, a space for writing and gentle prompts during life transitions. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical guidance.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out to a qualified professional or crisis service in your area.
What Joori is
Joori is a private, time-bound digital companion for people navigating life transitions. It provides a space for reflection, gentle writing prompts, and a dignified closing ritual when your chosen journey ends.
We designed Joori around presence, not productivity. There are no streaks, no metrics, no pressure to engage.
Your content belongs to you
- ✓Everything you write in Joori (your reflections, dialogues, and notes) belongs entirely to you
- ✓You grant us only the license needed to store and display your content back to you
- ✓We will never use your content for marketing, training AI, or any purpose beyond providing your service
Your account and deletion rights
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. When you do:
- •All your reflections and dialogues are permanently deleted
- •Your email and account information are removed
- •This action cannot be undone
We complete all deletions within 30 days of your request.
Acceptable use
Joori is designed for personal reflection. Please don't use it to:
- •Store illegal content
- •Attempt to harm, manipulate, or exploit the service
- •Share your account with others
Service limitations
We strive to keep Joori available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need maintenance time.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If we ever shut down the service entirely, we'll give you time to export your data.
Limitation of liability
Joori is provided "as is." While we take care with everything we build, we cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us for the service (if any).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of Joori after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
